Municipalities raised no opposition to the abolishment of the Municipal Tax on indivisible services (Tassa comunale sui servizi indivisibili – TASI) because of the negative perception by citizens towards it. However, the compensation mechanism for this revenue shortfall is based on past choices and does not allow any room for manoeuvre to the authorities. Pending some shared estimations of standard needs.
