In 2016, exports from Tuscany have been stagnated. In a national framework in which the benchmark regions are experiencing a widespread slackening, our region’s foreign sales have been basically steady. Such result has been mainly affected by the bad performances of two leading productions, Florence’s machinery and Arezzo’s leather industry. As to the destination market, the good results achieved in Europe and North America have been counterbalanced by the bad ones obtained in Asia and in the main emerging countries.
