1st<\/sup>\u00a0– 5th<\/sup>\u00a0July 2024, Santiago, Chile<\/h3>\n\n

For the first time in the history of the International Input-Output Association (IIOA), the\u00a0United Nations<\/strong>\u00a0is hosting a\u00a0global IIOA conference<\/strong>. This is a remarkable reflection of the close collaboration by the two global organizations in the development and promotion of methods, statistical data, analytical results, and policy application in the field of input-output.<\/p>\n\n

It is an inspiring follow-up to the joint work of the UN and IIOA in creating the\u00a0Handbook on Supply, Use and Input-Output Tables with Extensions and Applications<\/a>\u00a0published in 2018 to comprehensively guide IO-related statistical compilation as an extension to the UN System of National Accounts, and IO-modeling applications for economic policy use.<\/p>\n\n

The joint conference comes exactly at a time when IIOA marks\u00a0three decades of global IIOA conferences<\/strong>\u00a0all around the globe, serving the world-wide community of macro economic statisticians, analysts, and policy makers.<\/p>\n\n

The United Nations\u2019 Local Organizing Committee and the Council and Management of IIOA are glad to\u00a0welcome<\/strong>\u00a0you to the\u00a030th<\/sup>\u00a0International Input-Output Conference<\/strong>. It will take place at the premises of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) at Dag Hammarskjold 3477, 7630670 Vitacura, Regi\u00f3n Metropolitana, Santiago de Chile.<\/p>\n\n
