Urban regeneration is a key policy area to actively favour social and territorial equilibrium. This study therefore proposes the use of the Choice Experiment as a tool to capture citizens\u2019 preferences for urban regeneration interventions. It investigates the welfare values produced by European funded projects (2014-2020 cycle) for urban regeneration interventions. The case studies focus on 3 medium sized cities in Tuscany, Italy. The results reveal that this methodology can produce useful information to design more efficient urban policies, that take into account the needs of individuals.
