XXVIII Conferenza SIET: Ampliare le connessioni per affrontare protezionismi, sfide ambientali e disuguaglianze

Siamo lieti di annunciare che la XXVIII Conferenza della Società Italiana di Economia dei Trasporti e della Logistica (SIET) si terrà il 10-11 settembre 2026 presso IRPET (Istituto Regionale per la Programmazione Economica della Toscana), a Firenze.

Call for Papers

Date importanti:
•  Scadenza per la presentazione delle proposte per sessioni speciali:  28 febbraio 2026 
•  Scadenza per la presentazione degli abstract estesi: 31 marzo 2026 18 aprile 2026
•  Notifica di accettazione degli abstract: 15 aprile 2026 30 aprile 2026
•  Iscrizioni anticipate alla conferenza: 15 maggio 2026

Premi
Nel corso del convegno, la SIET assegnerà i seguenti premi:

• il Premio SIET 2026 per il Paper migliore, destinato al miglior lavoro teorico o empirico presentato al XXVIII Convegno SIET da un giovane ricercatore (di età inferiore ai 35 anni). Il vincitore riceverà un premio di 300 € e un abbonamento gratuito di due anni alla SIET (scadenza: 15 luglio 2026);
• il Premio SIET 2026 per la Migliore Tesi di Dottorato, destinato alla migliore tesi di dottorato in Economia dei Trasporti e Logistica discussa nell’anno solare 2025 o entro aprile 2026. Il vincitore riceverà un premio di 1000 € e un abbonamento gratuito di tre anni alla SIET (scadenza 15 luglio 2026).

XXVIII SIET Conference: Building Connections to tackle Protectionism, Environmental Challenges and Inequality

Florence, September 10th – 11th, 2026

We are glad to inform you that the call for abstracts for the XXVIII Conference of the Italian Society of Transport Economics and Logistics, that will be on September 10-11, 2026 in Florence, at IRPET (Istituto Regionale per la Programmazione Economica della Toscana), is available now.

Here are the important dates:

• Proposal for Special Session deadline: February 28th, 2026 
• Extended Abstract submission deadline: March 31st, 2026 April 18th, 2026
• Accepted abstracts notification: April 15th, 2026 April 30th, 2026
• Early bird conference registration: May, 15th 2026

Awards

• During the conference, SIET will assign the following awards:
• the 2026 SIET Best Paper Award for the best theoretical or empirical paper presented at the XXVIII SIET Conference by a young researcher (under 35 years). The winner will receive a prize of €300 as well as a two-year free SIET membership (deadline July 15th, 2026);
• the 2026 SIET Best Doctoral thesis for the best Doctoral thesis on Transport economics and Logistics examined in the 2025 calendar year or by April 2026. The winner will receive a prize of €1000 well as a three-year free SIET membership (deadline July 15th, 2026).
