On the initiative of the Regional Research Institutes, the REPORT ON TERRITORIAL FINANCE 2025 – 21st edition is presented.
Right now, the implementation of federalism reform is gaining new momentum through the definition of essential service levels for regional functions as well, following the slow and controversial launch of the experiment with municipalities. At the same time, there is ongoing broad reflection on the model for managing European funds, and discussions between the government and regions on the topic of differentiated regionalism have resumed. Profound changes are therefore underway, the scope of which is still poorly understood. Thanks to the distinguished presence of institutional representatives at today’s meeting (Bank of Italy, Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces, Universities), the conference will be an opportunity for open debate on the processes underway, in an evolving context for the country’s system of regions and autonomous entities.
As every year, the volume presented today devotes ample space to the main issues affecting decentralized finance and confirms its usual focus on the most topical issues.
