Freedom as the key to personal and professional autonomy: freedom to train, develop skills, choose one’s career path, and actively participate in negotiations and decisions concerning work. In this context, European Funds become concrete tools for turning opportunities into reality. The ESF+ opens up avenues for training and continuous professional development, enhancing women’s skills and promoting access to new professional sectors. The ERDF supports female entrepreneurship, as well as the creation of innovative and inclusive workspaces, infrastructure, and services that make it possible to balance career and private life. Interreg programs broaden horizons through cross-border cooperation and the exchange of experiences, allowing women to choose career paths even beyond regional borders. The EAFRD encourages female entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, vocational training, and innovation, enhancing the role of women as agents of change in rural communities. Finally, the FEAMPA promotes sustainable aquaculture activities, including by strengthening the competitiveness of businesses in the sector by applying gender-based rewards in the selection of interventions.
