This note aims to reconstruct the salient features of the cinema and audiovisual supply chain in Italy, from the identification of the different stages and their evolution over time on the push of technological innovation, to the interaction between the private side (companies and professionals in the sector) and the public side (regulatory policies, but also subsidy policies for the supply chain).
