The economic situation and the Budget Law: the effects on Tuscany

Report edited by L. Ghezzi and N. Sciclone

The IRPET report analyses the performance of the economic cycle and the impact of the Budget Law on our region. The global economy is marked by a climate of uncertainty and weakness, with downside risks linked to international tensions and protectionist trade policies. This is the context for the government’s budget manoeuvre, which aims to reduce the tax burden on families and support the birth rate, but which leaves open uncertainties, especially on healthcare funding.
