This brief note is an initial exploration of the theme of the growing skills shortage in the public sector and the mismatch between supply and demand; criticalities that – well known in the private sector employment – today also penalise this context, to the detriment of the economic growth. This note describes the phenomenon and proposes an initial exploration of original databases.
