Mia is coming. Acronym for Active Inclusion Measure, which is the new institution to combat poverty that will replace the Citizenship Income. The reform has not yet been definitively outlined, and there is great expectation for the text of the decree law that the Minister of Labor, Elvira Calderone, will bring to the Council of Ministers. At the moment, some advances are circulating in the main newspapers, which seem reliable with respect to the intentions repeatedly announced in recent weeks by the representatives of the government majority, and on the basis of which it is possible – using our micro-simulation model – to estimate the potential effects of the reform. In order to better orient yourself in the debate and understand what changes with Mia and how relevant and if the announced squeeze is. All with reference to Tuscany. (…)
