Nota congiunturale 21/2023 by T. Ferraresi and L. Ghezzi
Tuscan exports slow down in Q2 2023.
The impact of inflationary pressures caused by the dynamics of energy and intermediate products on global demand started to produce its effects in the current year.
Italy’s goods exports, at year-on-year prices, contracted in the second quarter of 2023. Better did Tuscany, whose foreign sales grew by 1.2 %.
Among the products, pharmaceuticals, boats, caravans and machinery were on the rise. Fashion products in particular suffered.
