By Nicola Sciclone For months, the economic scenario has been marked by uncertainty and international conflicts, including trade disputes, which are affecting growth prospects and leading to a general slowdown.
Large sections of the population and the productive fabric of Tuscany are experiencing the current economic situation in a state of unstable equilibrium: for some, the perception of resilience prevails; for others, a sense of decline. But, overall, there is a deterioration in confidence, which is an essential ingredient for a return to growth.
The sentiment that Tuscans feel about their living conditions effectively reflects the evolution of the economic situation: a perceived improvement compared to the most difficult years is accompanied by persistent caution that curbs optimism and keeps confidence in the future fragile.
