Position Paper 44/2025 by S. Duranti, N. Faraoni and V. Patacchini

The note analyzes the development and characteristics of digital professions in Tuscany, focusing in particular on employment dynamics, graduate careers, and demand from businesses. The data show significant growth in digital employment over the last decade, although it still lags behind the European average. Companies that hire digital profiles, concentrated in the ICT sector but also present in traditional sectors, represent a strategic component of the regional productive fabric.
