The 2024 agricultural year in Tuscany. Signs of recovery for almost everyone.

2024 was a year of recovery for Italian and European agriculture, which in 2023 had suffered from adverse weather conditions and input prices that were still high, albeit already falling. In particular, there was a good performance in the permanent crops sector, which recovered after a poor year in 2023, and an increase in the prices of products sold by farmers, while input prices continued to fall. As in the previous year, 2024 was also characterized by above-average temperatures, albeit with higher rainfall levels. From March onwards, all Tuscan provincial capitals reported a precipitation surplus.
