The study is part of the IRPET-Regione Toscana joint activities for the year 2024 and was commissioned by the EAFRD Managing Authority (Activity No. 1.2024). The report evaluates the impact of the expenditure of the 2014-2020 EAFRD fund on the Tuscan
economy in the period 2014-2023. The type of evaluation and the modeling used in this report allow to
measure only one aspect of the overall impact of the Fund, namely that relating to expenditures. The
analysis carried out has however shown a significant impact of the EAFRD on the regional and national
economic system and above all on the relevant variables of the Agriculture sector. The analysis was
carried out using a multi-regional SUT model and for the impact at the level of the Local Labour System
(LLS) a multi-LLS model. The results confirm the expected characteristics of the generation of value
added of the EAFRD, which has had in the investment component a significant source of activation not
only for Tuscany but also for the rest of Italy
