Tourism flows in the first 8 months of 2024

The analysis uses two information flows. A first flow of a statistical nature concerns microdata on tourist arrivals and presences in official accommodation facilities in Tuscany until 31 December 2023. This is the information flow that feeds the statistics on tourist flows in Tuscany published by the Region of Tuscany and ISTAT. A second information flow, again made up of microdata on individual accommodation facilities, is instead of an administrative nature and also concerns tourist arrivals and presences in the official accommodation facilities in Tuscany starting from 1 January 2024. The latter flow also has a reduced territorial coverage for the month of August, for which the data for the Florentine Metropolitan Area, which have a significant impact on the regional total, are not yet available.
